Another shot from our weekend shoot at McLeans Wrecking Yard. The shot itself is OK, kind of cool I guess but that’s not why I’m posting it. Let me tell you the secret of this shot.
It was a 5 bracket HDR shot processed in Photomatix Pro 4.
It was adjusted HEAVILY in Nik Color Efex Pro 4 – including a lot of heavy contrast work, the sunlight filter and a few others.
It was sharpened up and tweaked in LR4.
It was SHOT AT 1600 ISO.
There is ZERO noise removal applied.
None.
Zilch.
And that my friends is the beauty of a modern sensor.
