Announcement – New Composition Class in April

Good morning everyone. I’m pleased to announce that I will be teaching a very cool composition class in Cleveland on April 15th in conjunction with the awesome folks at the Digital Photo Academy. The class will be from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Flats. It’s a fantastic place to view Cleveland’s history, see the skyline, and explore an area many of us drive by but don’t pay a lot of attention to. It is a photographers playground.

The class will go over the basics of good composition so that you can turn those snapshots into great shots. The target audience is anyone who wants to learn more about photography and have a good time. No special cameras needed. Heck use an iPhone if you want.

If you are interested you can find more details here.

Heading Home! – Cleveland, OH

I’m off to go spend a great early “spring” weekend in Cleveland. Friends, family, and more shooting opportunities. I love going home.

If anyone lives in the Midwest and is looking for a great, affordable place to shoot, it’s Cleveland. Cool architecture, museums, miles and miles of parks and wildlife, a world class zoo are just a few things that the city has to offer. I love New York and Chicago, but for 1/2 the cost you can explore a city poised to make a huge jump into the future.
