Lonely Day in St. Augustine – St. Augustine, FL
I guess I have a thing for oceans, beaches and piers. Not uncommon I guess, that’s a pretty typical type of picture. Common or not there is just something almost mystical about an empty pier stretching out into the vast unknown.
That or I just like an excuse to go see a nice sunrise.
This shot was taken last year as part of Rick Sammon’s Florida Photo Caravan. I’ve mentioned it before but if you get a chance to take a class with Rick, it’s a great opportunity. I don’t get paid for that endorsement 
(though hey Rick feel free lol).

Back From The Ashes
I’m ashamed to admit it, but I fell victim to a malicious exploit that turned the site into a spammers paradise. I tried hard to wipe it out, but eventually just decided to nuke the whole site and start from scratch. I’m slowly putting things back together and will begin posting again shortly.
In a way it was a nice break. As much as I hate to set it all up again, the forced interruption has allowed me to recharge. I feel inspired again.
